Analysis of Land Use Evolution of Suzhou Wetlands Based on RS and GIS

The purpose of this study is to analyze the land use evolution and characteristics Suzhou wetlands. Located in Taihu Lake basin, has abundant wetland resources, covering 339,500 hectares accounting for 40% area. huge wetlands have high environmental ecological indicators. With support RS GIS technology, Landsat OLI 30 m remote sensing images, vector data, DEM, other data are used. Through analysis processing, type maps, distribution research area overview maps generated, their area, dynamic degree, transfer matrix calculated. results show that from 2013 2020, total showed a decreasing trend, with change -8.77%. In past seven years, Suzhou's urban construction rate been relatively fast, main supply sources were lakes, mudflats, wetlands, woodlands. Based on this, impact economic development protection ecology should be emphasized implemented management strategies order promote sustainable development.
